Betting Staking Plan for Trading The SPFL betting tips from Scottish Football Tips

Trading The SPFL : Weekend 11th/12th November

Shares

This week we are left with a reduced fixture list due to the international matches taking place. League One and League Two don’t provide much in the way of trades, but we can turn our attention to the black sheep of Scottish Football competitions – The Irn Bru Cup.

Fortunately, we have now reached the point where teams are almost taking this event seriously as they are within touching distance of trips to Hampden and the glory of lifting this world famous trophy.

As my colleague Colin Ross has pointed out already, Dundee United are well worthy of an interest this week. See his article HERE

I will echo his sentiments and add that Crusaders are very much likely to be bringing a second string side to the party. The 11/10 available should be backed – a small note of caution regarding the team line up’s make this a small/medium interest.

Our other trade this weekend also comes under the Irn Bru umbrella in the shape of Dumfries side Queen of the South. They travel to take on the Welsh Premier League titans The New Saints.

Having watched TNS on several occasions they would be at the level of ‘solid Championship club’ in the Scottish pyramid. The same definition could be applied almost word for word to Queen of the South.

In their match against Livingston earlier this season they progressed via penalties – it was an encounter that the Scottish side had the better of.

This will be a tough, hard fought match. The quotes of 11/4 available on Queens are underrating their ability and this matchup is much closer than that. There is 19/10 available with Marathon Bet on the Draw No Bet market (7/4 with Bet365, Paddy Power and Betfred).

This is worthy of a trade. If you really want to push the boat out, the 11/2 Half Time/Full Time could also be worth a very small interest.

(ED: 2.5 stars equates to 1.75% of bankroll. If you have already backed QOS on the WDW markets based on Colin’s Lower League Tips DO NOT back anymore on this one. 2% is the max stake on Dundee United to win the game in total).
