Scottish Lower League Tips 2nd February

Scottish Lower League Tips and selections from Scottish Football Tips.

Expert betting tips from Scotland's lower leagues and across the whole of Scottish football.

Hi to all members at Scottish Football Tips.

Weather may play it's part this weekend, however all games went ahead last week when prospects were not great, let's hope weather relents enough.

Strangely have only had the 1 interest for the weekend to date, although good chunks of value out there. It's about making the right decisions.

My selection.
Stirling Albion DNB @ 3.0 (2/1) for 1/2 your average stake (ED: 1% of bankroll).

As transfer window comes towards it's close, I'm completely up to date with moves, loans, extended loans, clubs benefitting, those creating competition for places and my own resume of where we are.

Our picks Stirling, who are on excellent run and responding to confident boss Kevin Rutkeiwizc ( will never get spelling of surname ), have seen 2 leave and 5 brought in at time of writing.

Liking the signings of Jordan McGregor from Aberdeen, Max Ashmore from Stranraer and on loan Archie Thomas from Dundee United. Squad has nice balanced look and competition will be lively for starting places, exactly as you want it going into last 3rd of league campaign.

Evergreen Peter McDonald scored a hat trick last week and his movement in and around box is good to watch and sets great example to young players. Having the juicy carrot of 4th spot to chase creates an extra buzz around training and the incoming players should feel this as they settle in.

Opponents Clyde are the only 1 of the 30 lower league clubs to do no business up to now. Find this quite strange, as they also on fantastic run and must fancy chances of winning league ( hope so, we are on @ 12/1 on Xmas eve ).

However not backing up an already decent squad may come back to bite them as it did to cocky Peterhead last term when they also failed to strengthen in January. Talisman David Goodwillie never played last week and is extremely doubtful to figure against Stirling.

As stated they are form team and good squad but Stirling are in a good place after having been 9th when gaffer came in. Real decent chance for our picks and Forthbank should see decent crowd on Saturday. Almost 3/1 is available but we will play the insurance of draw no bet.

Will probably add 3 more selections before Saturday.
