Ross County v Dunfermline Betting Preview

Ross County v Dunfermline Betting Preview

William Hill Scottish Cup Fourth Round Replay

Location: Global Energy Stadium
Date: 12th January 2016
Time: 19:45

Ross County got away with one on Saturday despite taking the lead twice against Dunfermline.

All observers and anyone who watches the highlights would agree that The Pars were unlucky not to knock out their higher ranked opponents. They are worth watching if you’re looking for ten minutes of out and out entertainment.

The replay is unlikely to match it for thrills, spills and goal mouth action but that doesn’t mean it will be tame. Goals are probably likely again and with Fayssal El Bakhtaoui catching the eye yet again in the cups Dunfermline have plenty of hope.

Joe Cardle is another one who caught the eye and he will no doubt relish a return to the Global Energy Stadium having played there last few season. With new signing Brad McKay heavily involved in his debut there is plenty to like about Alan Johnston’s side.

Ross County’s inconsistency away from home may have counted against them on Saturday but back on home turf they are a different proposition. The Staggies have won nine of their thirteen home games this season bagging thirty-two goals in the process.

With Dunfermline being no stranger to the occasional goal glut this game has the potential to outdo the first. If both sides attack with the same vigour as the did on Saturday both teams scoring also looks to have a really good chance of success.

Ross County v Dunfermline Betting Preview Betting Odds

Both teams to score was available at 1.87 (87/100) but in the time I have been writing this preview that has dropped to a best 1.75 (3/4) with Boylesports.

It may be worth taking an extra punt for a smaller stake on the Match Result and both teams to score market. The Staggies should have enough to see off Dunfermline at the second time of asking but are likely to concede in the process.

Both Paddy Power and Boylesports offer 2/1 on Ross County winning the match with both teams scoring.

EDIT: The price for both teams to score has risen again to 1.8 (4/5) with bet365 or 1.81 with 888Sport and that’s good enough to get involved.
