Stirling Albion v Berwick Rangers Betting Preview
Ladbrokes Scottish League 2
Date: 13th February 2016
The Binos have done us a right wee turn over the past six or seven weeks.
An excellent run of form has seen them back in the hunt for the playoffs with a win on Saturday able to turn their season right around. It could take them to as high as fifth place and just two points behind Queens Park in third.
This should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying the slightest bit of attention. Albion have lost just four times in their last nineteen games and after the distraction of making life difficult for Premiership sides in the cup dissipated they can now concentrate on their league form.
This culminated in a 7-0 trouncing of Montrose on Tuesday night, another night when Stirling did us a wee turn. A team that was always hard to beat has found their shooting boots, it seems, and that generally leads to one conclusion.
Not that I would go too crazy on Saturday. Even though Berwick find themselves just one defeat away from being bottom of the table they shouldn’t be discounted quite as easily as Montrose. They have two away wins in their last five games with a 0-1 win at Queens Park proving they can make it difficult for any side.
Stirling Albion v Berwick Rangers Betting Preview Betting Odds
You can back Stirling Albion at a high of 1.87 (87/100) with Marathon Bet and that is worth taking in my opinion. Berwick Rangers are a best 4.3 (33/10) with McBookie while the draw is available at 3.8 (14/5) with Ladbrokes.
Despite Tuesday’s result it could be a low scoring game so the price of 1.65 (13/20) for +2.5 goals doesn’t appeal. Both teams to score is available at the same 1.65 (13/20) price again with Ladbrokes.
