Saint Johnstone v Kilmarnock Betting Preview
Location: Mc Diarmid Park
Date: 7th November 2015.
One of two things is going to happen quite soon where Saint Johnstone are concerned.
The amazing run of seeing both teams score in their matches will come to a halt. Or the bookies will finally cotton on to it and stop giving us such great odds on the outcome.
In the meantime I suggest you don’t sit around waiting for either thing to happen. The bookies are still placing value under our noses for this weekend’s match. So what about the outcome?
It’s worth reminding ourselves of the stats. Both teams have scored in all but two of The Perth Saints seventeen games this season. In the Premiership it is all but one of thirteen. The same has happened in eight of their last nine home league games.
The opponents? Both teams have scored in nine of their fifteen games this season. In the league it is nine in thirteen and ten of their last twelve away games.
Given those stats does anyone doubt both sides ability to score?
Last week The Saints won 2-4 away to Hamilton Accies and that was without their leading goalscorer, Steven MacLean.
Killie drew a blank last week at home to Motherwell, their first in six games. Motherwell have been shored up by Mark McGhee though.
Michael O Halloran has been getting all the plaudits for The Saints but Steven MacLean and Graeme Cummins have being pulling their weight too.
For Killie Josh Magennis has been in the form of his life and could get back on the goals trail this weekend.
