Ross County v Aberdeen Betting Tips And Predictions
Location: Global Energy Stadium
Date: 17th December 2016
The lights went out on Aberdeen’s push for second place in their midweek game with Motherwell.
I mean that quite literally. A floodlight failure saw the game abandoned with barely fifteen minutes of action played out.
It does give the Aberdeen players more recovery time in what has been a hectic schedule. Saturday’s game against Ross County is their fifth scheduled match in fourteen days.
That kind of schedule gives Derek McInnes licence to tinker with his starting line up. Not that he needs it. He has been quick to change things on a game by game basis and some of his choices have left observers bewildered. It now seems clear that he is struggling to accommodate the players at his disposal and as a result he is not getting the best out of his squad.
The Dons have won three of their last eight matches. Although, to be fair, four of the games they failed to win were against sides in the top five. But not winning games can become habitual and if they want to get back on track they will need to start winning consecutive games again.
Saturday’s trip to Dingwall won’t be the easiest place to realign the wheels. Ross County are on a decent run avoiding defeat in each of their last five games. They have taken points off Hearts and Rangers while blitzing St Johnstone in Perth with a 2-4 victory. They may also feel aggrieved at not taking all three points from their 0-0 draw in Dundee last weekend.
That goalless draw is the exception in their previous ten games. Each of the previous four saw both teams score and that outcome looks likely again. Particularly with Aberdeen seeing the same outcome in each of their last three away matches.

Aberdeen are favourites at 1.85 (17/20) with McBookie. It is a price that is rightly drifting. Ross County are available at 4.75 (15/4) with bet365 while Marathon Bet are best price for a draw at 3.96 (74/25).
Ross County look the best option on the WDW markets therefore taking them with Draw No Bet insurance at 3.4 (12/5) with Marathon Bet is worth considering.
But I am looking to goals with recent head to head stats heavily in favour. Marathon Bet offer 1.85 (17/20) for +2.5 goals while 888Sport go as high as 1.8 (4/5) for both teams to score.
4 of Ross County's last 5 games have seen both teams score.
