The handicappers must be dreading the outcome of this Rangers v Cowdenbeath Scottish Cup 4th Round tie.
The punters have really laid in to them with the opening gambit of Rangers -2 goals at evens being knocked into a best 1.8 (4/5). The bet I intended to highlight for this game was the one I wrote for my Scottish Football Accumulator tips and my Pie & Bovril preview.
I matched up Rangers -1 and Celtic -1 for a really well priced double at 2.08 (27/25) with Boylesports. Unfortunately less than twenty-four hours later the best you will get for that is 1.67 (4/6) so advising that bet now just won’t cut the mustard.
Finding something else now more than fourty-eight hours before the game won’t be easy anymore.
The Gers should win this game with plenty to spare. Despite confusion over the offer or asking for loans off the field everything is rosy again on it. Comprehensively beating Hibs in the league has lifted some momentary gloom amongst the Ibrox faithful.
The poaching of two well regarded youngsters from Accrington Stanley and the current attempt to buy Toumani Diagouraga for a reported £500,000 from Brentford has gone down well. Confidence is back in abundance in the Rangers dressing room and beyond.
Cowdenbeath shouldn’t be disregarded completely, they are on a good wee run of form themselves. They put it right up to Dunfermline at the weekend, away from home. Their troubles have all come away from home and despite good form troubles is all they should expect on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers have scored four goals in four of their last five home games and scoring four or more again could be exactly what happens. Even if they make a few changes to the starting eleven to give the odd fringe player a run out.

Even Rangers -2 goals has been hammered right in by the punters. Originally available at even money the best you will get now is 1.8 (4/5) with Skybet and that is likely to hit 1.67 (4/6) or worse by Sunday.
It seems to be the only worthwhile bet left if you didn’t get on early enough to make good at the prices. That being said Rangers winning by at least two and Celtic winning by at least two does still look really likely so if you must have a bet taking that at 1.67 (4/6) with Boylesports could be your best hope.
