Livingston v Stranraer Betting Preview
Ladbrokes Scottish Championship Playoff Semi Final 2nd Leg
Location: Toni Macaroni Arena
Date: 7th May 2016
Stranraer became big game hunters and have all but chopped the head off the Livingston Lions.
But enraptured Blues fans should be wary that it is still only half time in this tie and it’s not unprecedented for the lower league side to blow a good lead in the second leg.
Livingston have got the firepower to bang in a few goals in the second leg but their defensive ineptitude will likely cost them in the end. It’s hard to see them not conceding after losing five goals in the first leg down in Stranraer.
David Hopkins’ managerial career is hanging by a thread and his side will need to win by a minimum 3-0 scoreline to bring it back from the brink. If they concede they will have to score four and although it is possible it looks unlikely.
If Livingston throw caution to the wind Stranraer have shown that they too have firepower that can do some damage. It looks like the lions will be playing League 1 football next season, if they survive the financial armageddon that certain rumours are pointing towards.
