Livingston v Rangers Betting Preview
Location: Toni Macaroni Arena
Date: 21st November
It wasn’t easy finding something to back for this Livingston v Rangers betting preview.
Actually, it was downright impossible.
Lets not mess around by suggesting anything other than a Rangers win here. They are 1.3(3/10) for a reason, a very good one at that.
Livi’s form may have improved over recent games with three wins in eight games but they are still a long way behind The Gers.
Rangers could well cover a handicap but I am not too inclined to back them at the prices. While Livi have been losing nobody has given them a hammering since Ibrox in September.
They faced up at Ibrox again in The Petrofac Cup and lost by the minimum. On Tuesday night they gave Hibs a fright before going down by a 2-1 scoreline.
So even Rangers -1 at 1.73(8/11) with Boylesports has little appeal.
I looked at the usual first goalscorer markets with Lee Wallace my usual preference. The best you can get is 14/1 with McBookie and Coral. While that will appeal to some it’s a little shy for my liking.
The goals markets are also shy with both teams to score a best 1.91(10/11) with Coral. I was hoping for odds against having eyed up it’s potential earlier in the week but not to be.
You could back Rangers to win at Half Time and Full Time at 1.83(5/6) with McBookie but it’s not for me. Although that probably is the best of the bets available on The Teddy Bears.
Then Betfair popped up with this little beauty for new customers.
Surely if you fancied betting on Rangers this weekend this would be the way to go. Unfortunately it is only available to new customers but if you haven’t got a Betfair account (and you really should have by the way) now would be the perfect time to open one.
There are up to £100 in free bets available if you register for different services like casino and even more if you fancy a dabble at poker.
Of course Betfair offers up the best betting exchange around giving the punter more control than ever before.
This could end up being the best move you make all weekend.
