It’s back to the bread and butter for Celtic after yet another disappointing Europa League performance.
The Hoops fans can look toward their bounceback record after European games for some comfort. The Tic have scored twenty-seven goals in the eight league games that followed European matches, winning all of them.
They managed to cover a handicap in all but one of those eight games, too. Last time out after a morale busting defeat at home to Molde they came to the highlands and burst the bubble of Ross County with a 1-4 victory.
They may well do the same again but you would be hard pressed to back it as Celtic have failed to win in their last two visits to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
For The Caley Jags eighth place in the table simply won’t do after coming third in last season’s Scottish Premiership race. One win in six games is a far cry from their form of last season.
They have rediscovered their goal scoring touch after drawing a couple of blanks. Miles Storey is the main threat for them with five goals in eight league games.
With Celtic having conceded in all but two of their eight away league games there is a good chance of Caley Thistle getting amongst the goals.
