Rangers were finally put the test last week and fair play they stood up to it.
The game away to Hibernian is going to be an even sterner examination and could rightly be described as their biggest test to date.
Hibs have been riding high since their early season stuttering. With nine wins in their last ten games they have form that is almost as good as The Gers, almost.
Rangers have managed to beat The Hibees twice this season already and one of those was at Easter Road. Hibs have improved since then and Rangers have tailed off a little but the form is still with the away side.
Predicting a winner in this Hibernian v Rangers betting preview may not be as easy as you would first think. For me the game could be won and lost in the midfield and I think Hibs could have the best of it there.
Henderson, McGeouch, Fyvie, Bartley and McGinn have been performing well and shaded it in the last meeting at Ibrox. It wasn’t enough to stop Rangers winning that game and may not be enough this time around.
The Teddy Bears have goals all over their team from the full backs to their strikers. Stopping the goal scoring threats will be key to any hope Hibs have of extending the Championship title race.
There are goals about this Hibs side too, though, with Jason Cummings key to their goalscoring chances. Seven goals in eleven league games (nine in total) shows he is intent on reclaiming his top scorer accolade from last season.

Goals certainly look like the way to go here with both teams to score looking very likely. At a best 1.73(8/11) with bet365 it is short but justifiably so.
For there be three or more goals in this game is likely to need both teams to score so the price of 1.77 on +2.5 match goals is much less attractive.
People often comment on players scoring against their previous club and how it is somehow written in the stars. I don’t buy into that much but former Ger Darren McGregor is attractively priced to score anytime at 16/1 and 40/1 to score first with bet365.
The defender hasn’t scored yet in his eight games for Hibs but scored five times for Rangers last season.
