Hibernian v Raith Rovers Betting Preview
Ladbrokes Scottish Championship Playoff Semi Final 2nd Leg
Location: Easter Road
Date: 7th May 2016
You can take your pick of adjectives to describe the Hibernian effect in the first leg.
‘Hibsed It’ will be the most common and it has become so ubiquitous now it has lost all it’s power. But once again this Hibernian side failed to convert their dominance into a victory and Raith Rovers take a slender lead to Easter Road.
Whether they will be able to maintain that lead depends on one thing, Hibernian. There is no doubting they have the talent, the armoury and the ability to overcome the one goal deficit. What is in doubt is whether they have the confidence, the wherewithal and the drive.
Alan Stubbs will likely start the second leg with Henderson and McGeouch in midfield to increase their creativity. Who starts up front is a matter yet to be determined, though.
Jason Cummings was again guilty of missing a gilt edged opportunity to give Hibs the lead and likely put the tie beyond Rovers. He has been guilty of missing golden chances regularly of late and James Keatings must have felt begrudged at being left out.
Anthony Stokes has thrown his weight around and demanded to take free kicks from scoring positions, to little effect, but hasn’t had the impact expected on his arrival. He will start on Saturday but he needs to up his game to give Hibs a chance.

Backing Hibs to qualify would be a better option at 1.75 (3/4) with Marathon Bet while Raith Rovers can be backed at 2.38 (11/8) with Boylesports.
Both teams to score could have a chance here and is tempting at 2.1 (11/20) with Ladbrokes and Coral. You can get 1.75 (3/4) from Coral for +2.5 goals which has less appeal.
