Hearts are suddenly the next best in Scotland and it’s their strikers they have to thank.
Osman Sow and Juanma have twelve goals between them having grabbed a brace apiece on Saturday passed.
It’s a welcome return to form for Juanma who had gone off the boil but Sow has been turning in good performances in the past few games.
At home to an Accies side who are struggling of late many will see opportunity in backing a home win here.
It’s two wins in eight now for Martin Canning’s side and just four points from a possible fifteen on the road.
Defensive injuries contributed to the four goals they shipped at home to Saint Johnstone at the weekend. The two goals they contributed themselves were little more than consolations having been 0-4 down.
Only Aberdeen and Celtic have beaten The Jambos at Tynecastle this season. Having scored an impressive eighteen goals in their eight home games they will be confident of hitting at least two on Saturday.
They have actually scored in all but one of their last thirty-six home games so that looks guaranteed. Another one on top shouldn’t take too much trouble against a weakened Accies defence.
Hamilton have had to rely heavily on Dougie Imrie for goals with none of their strikers scoring since August. Both their goals on Saturday came from the boot of defender Jesus Garcia Tena.

I am going t take a different tack and back them to score +1.5 team goals at a slightly reduced 1.95(19/20) with Boylesports.
The reasons for going with goals are two-fold. Hearts’s defence while improving still has some question marks over it so scoring two won’t necessarily win them the game.
Also, I would quite like Accies to get on the scoresheet as I am going to take a chance on Jesus Garcia Tena to score anytime at 16/1 with bet365.
The big Spanish defender has scored three times already this season including the last time the teams met at New Douglas Park.
He has as good a strike of the ball with his left foot as anyone in Scotland and takes free kicks and penalties.
A price of 16/1 looks way too good to turn down. Particularly as he is as low as 5/1 with some firms.
