Hamilton v Saint Johnstone Betting Preview
Location: New Douglas Park
Date: 31st October 2015.
What we have here are two teams in excellent goalscoring form.
The Perth Saints have scored in every game this season bar the very first one away to Alashkert in Armenia.
The Accies also failed to score in their first game but considering they were reduced to ten men after twenty-five minutes we can let that go.
Since then they have scored in every home game drawing blanks just twice away to Ross County and Aberdeen.
Saint Johnstone have the leagues joint leading goalscorer in Steven MacLean with nine goals. Not to mention plenty more attacking threat with Michael O Halloran and Graeme Cummins.
Their manager Tommy Wright is on record as saying he thinks O Halloran is the best player in the Scottish Premiership at the moment.
That’s quite a claim but not totally unjustified given his form. He was instrumental in rescuing their league cup bid on Tuesday evening.
For the home side Dougie Imrie is bang in form with four goals in his last five games. He resuced a point in their last two games coming from a goal and a man down both times.
Given both sides penchant for scoring and conceding in equal measure both teams to score looks to have an excellent chance on Saturday.
Hamilton v Saint Johnstone Betting Preview Betting Odds
It’s impossible to back against Hamilton given their excellent home form and Saint Johnstone’s hit and miss away from.
Instead the goals markets look like excellent value with both teams to score priced up at 1.98(49/50) with 888Sport.
Both teams have scored in fourteen of The Saints sixteen games this season and seven of Hamilton Accies last nine games.
The stats for +2.5 match goals are not as exciting but the price of 2.25(5/4) from McBookie certainly is. It is another bet worth considering.
