It’s hard to know what to do with Celtic these days. On Thursday night they put in another sterling performance in the Europa League against Fenerbahce but come out with another disappointing result.
Losing a two goal lead to a team with the calibre of Fenerbahce wouldn’t have been so bad were it not for the reappearance of the individual errors that have plagued them this season.
The Tic have won just 3 of their last 8 games in all competitions and just 2 of their last 5 Scottish Premiership away matches. Looking at that it’s hard to consider them as acca fillers at a best priced 1.33 with Betfair and William Hill.
With Hamilton unbeaten at home since the 15th February it’s hard to find confidence in backing Celtic on the handicaps either. But it’s not all bad for Celtic, not by a long shot.
On Thursday night Leigh Griffiths got himself on the scoresheet in European competition for the 4th time taking him to double figures already for the season. The former Dundee and Hibernian hitman is on fire this season so it’s little wonder he is priced at a best 1.83(5/6) with bet365 to score on Sunday.
Hamilton have goals about them too with Alistair Crawford their main creative threat. Dougie Imrie and Carlton Morris have grabbed a couple too, as has their big Brazilian defender Lucas.

While I think both teams scoring has a chance on Sunday I would have preferred a little more than evens on the outcome. Whatever happens on Saturday at Aberdeen Celtic will be coming into the game knowing a win will be huge. I think they will do what needs to be done.
Instead I am going to stick with my first goalscorer options for small stakes. Nir Bitton at 22/1 with bet365 and Dedryck Boyata at 30/1 with Betbright are a little overpriced, again.
