It’s celebration time for Celtic but Aberdeen may be keen to be title party poopers.
If The Dons can win in Glasgow, something they’ve managed a mere three times in twenty years, they can extend the official title party until Wednesday. They would need to beat Celtic by at least fifteen goals to bring themselves back into the actual title race.
Celtic will be missing Scott Brown and Dedryck Boyata for the rest of this campaign. A weakened defence saw the job through in Edinburgh last weekend but the extent of any extra changes that may be made is harder to determine.
There should be a few players champing at the bit to get a run out in the last few games, Ryan Christie, Scott Allan, James Forrest, Stuart Armstrong and even Kris Commons should be knocking Ronny Deilas door and asking for game time.
Thats a middle to front quintet that every other team in Scotland would walk five hundred miles to attain and exemplifies the quality Celtic have sitting on the bench. At least some of them should be given the chance at some point to run out to what should be a well attended Celtic Park.
But Aberdeen are unlikely to sit back and take whatever Celtic decide to throw at them. They’ll certainly have noted the difficulties that Rangers and Hearts caused by taking the game to Celtic and putting them under pressure.
With Adam Rooney just back from injury and Johnny Hayes still playing for a European championship place with Ireland they should retain plenty of attacking threat. Whether they can sour the title celebrations is debatable but goals are not beyond them.

In truth it’s probably a game best left alone from a betting point of view but both teams to score would be a preferred option if you must.
